How To Register A Vehicle From Another State
Registering a car from out of state?
I moved to SF in Sep 2020 from Michigan and I want to register my auto, but and so far I've had some problem figuring out the best way. I know y'all're supposed to register it inside 2 weeks of moving or you have to pay a fine. I likewise know that it'south been kind of hard to go an appt at the DMV lately and whenever I drive by the office the line of people is wrapped around the building. The DMV website doesn't have a lot of information about registering cars that were purchased in another country. Has anyone gone through this process recently? If then, any tips on how to navigate would be greatly appreciated! I street park, and I know that every bit people outset to come up dorsum to the city they're going to get-go being more aggressive with ticketing and I want to exist as prepared equally possible.
