The Ministry of Civil Aviation through Public Observe No. AV-22011/4/2015-DG dated thirteen January 2020 identified the presence of such drones in India which are non compliant to NPNT and CAR 1.0 requirements of the Drones Policy ane.0. In order to facilitate the identification of all ceremonious drones and drone operators, a erstwhile opportunity for voluntary disclosure of such drones and drone operators is beingness provided through the Digital Heaven Portal . All persons in possession of whatever types of drones are required to strictly complete the process of online registration by January 31, 2020.

This applies to all drones including Nano drones, Toy drones, RC Aircrafts
NPNT and Compliance to Machine 1.0 is non required for this.

OVERVIEW

The drone enlistment form for voluntary disclosure has ii parts:

Ownership Acknowledgement Number ("OAN"):
OAN is generated after uploading the drone owner's information.

Drone Acknowledgement Number ("DAN"):
DAN is generated afterward uploading drone's information. Since a drone possessor may have multiple drones, the possessor tin can use the same OAN to enlist all drones endemic past him.

Ownership of drones in India without a valid DAN or OAN shall invite penal actions as per applicable law. The deadline for all owners of drones in India to complete the voluntary disclosure is 5 PM on January 31, 2020.
